Using spades / shovels and snow blocks would lag people because of 4x the drops of snowballs. So I switched to a more workable material - TNT. Bad...

Even with WE, lamps return back to off-state. Good to know on the redstone torches though!
They update once placed back to normal lamps. Im 90% sure the same happens with redstone torches that are unlit.
