Rip music off ipod

    so I am trying to rip the music off my ipod cause my comp died and I got a new one but my new comp is only recognizing my ipod as a digital camera, anyone know of a good(somewhat recent) tutorial for how to fix this? it would be much appreciated

    Try re-installing/updating iTunes.

    I did that, I'm trying to access my ipod as a storage device so I can put all the music on it onto my comp, but it recognizes it as a digital camera instead of a storage device

    I dont think Windows can access the folder in which media is stored via the storage device representation.
    Only iTunes has the right configuration files to do so. If they are in your iTunes library, try the folder where the audio is usually stored.

    Make sure hidden files are shown, sometimes media is hidden there...
