One of the Minecraft programmers Jens Bergensten has uploaded a video to youtube showing the new wolf pets these are expected to be included in the next beta release of Minecraft (beta v1.4) If you watch the video you can see them swimming, being given bones, hunting and overall just being a damn cool addition to the minecraft world!
