Yep. Just like the title says, I've decided that I want to try and animate some stuff. The bellow video is my first ever animation and I wanted to share it with you folks. Lemme know what you think. It's a simple and short (about 5 seconds) animation of Nat drawing and swinging a sword. Haha. I hope you're okay with me jakking your skin, Nat.
Pretty good man, pretty good - one key to animation is to not do everything in the same speed - so while the finger pointing thing at the end is at a great speed, Nat should pull the sword out a lot faster, almost in the blink of an eye... you want hints of those motions but not full flow. If it were a cell animation, 3-5 frames would do it. Keep up the excellent work!
Thanks for the input, Stanky. I changed up the speed and played around with that for a couple of hours and it does look a lot better. I'll definitely be keeping that in mind.
Awesome animation, Just a couple questions. What program do you use? ( Mineimator,Blender etc ) Do you think we could do a partnership in animation somehow?
Ok. I have MineImator. But I perfer to use blender because its smoother In my honest opinion. I like to use free programs because all the ones you have to buy are around $3000. It's crazy!
I believe ye shall use thy free animator engines, no use throwing doubloons at a vessel ye can't even sail. Arr mateys- thar be a plundering ta be had!
So I haven't updated anything on here in a while. Don't worry, I haven't given up animating, I've just been working hard to be able to bring you something that will (hopefully) be truly amazing for everyone. I call it Blackreaver: Echoes Blackreaver: Echoes takes place kind of during the time the Black-Fusion Reactor exploded and follows the events that took place during and after it. We all know what happened to our old world- and how we were transported to this one, but some of us didn't make the transition at all and some of us didn't come here with all the wiring they left with. The will of the others lives on in them as echoes. So what I have for you today is just a very small clip(20s) (horrible bit of clumsiness with my hard drive led to some data loss) of the ending battle between Thr0ttie and Luciano. To give it some context, Luciano finally surrenders his will to the Other (I don't have a good name for them. You can give me one below! ) and the other reasserts itself fully. It's very much a work in progress! I really welcome any and all suggestions, comments, critiques, etc. as it is intended to be something for all of us. Anyway, I hope you enjoy it!
