Here is what my very first build evolved to , it is not much but I can say this: If this is were I started then you can learn to be a badass builder too. Edit - The map was upgraded to 1.9.2 when I took the picture, I also had to rewire all of my redstone double doors this was a pain to do since there was a big change in how redstone interacted with doors some time afterwards.
